The inbound linking strategy is linked on different web pages that direct clients and search engines to your web page. Inbound links are also identified as ‘backlinks’.

Why does your website need excellent quality, relevant inbound links?

One of the most significant parts learning how the search engines rank your web pages is the amount of relevant, good quality websites and blogs that have linked to your site. The search engines like inbound links for three main reasons:

  1. Inbound links help search engines know the quality of your business. For example, if the “WebZool” website links to ” Responsive Web Designers in Los Angeles ” website, that suggests that “WebZool” has something to do with SEO and Web design in Los Angeles.
  2. Inbound links are road signs leading to your location and help search engines obtain your web pages. The search engines have tons of web pages to index. You need to give them as many chances as possible to see your website and to return it.
  3. The search engines treat inbound links as favourable references or ‘votes’ for your web pages. If other sites and blog owners think that your web pages are worth linking to, the search engines think you must be offering valuable information and be an authority in your field.

inbound linking

Apart from developing the search engines’ ranking of your web pages, you need inbound links to help clients discover you.

You can warn people to your web address via off-line marketing and inbound links on other blogs and websites. For instance, if your site is listed in an online business directory, clients who use that directory can discover you.

Excellent Quality, Relevant Inbound Links

Excellent quality inbound links are those from older, favourite websites. ‘Relevant’ links are those from web pages that are linked in some way to your industry, products or services. For instance, links from a web design expert’s web page to your web design web page is relevant if you produce, sell, distribute or review templates.

Remember, the search engines are attempting to help users find useful information relevant to their search questions.

The excellent way to get inbound links is by adding informative, accessible text information in your web pages so that other site and blog owners will want to link to them. The search engines rate these ‘actual’ links above of all and give your web pages the first ranking if you have them. Share your expertise with your clients! Our regular blogs include informative articles discussing how to create useful page content.

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Websites that get many inbound links can be more likely to rank higher in search engines. Inbound links tell site crawlers that your website is a specialist on a particular subject – so the extra inbound links you have from excellent quality, high authority sites, the better your website can rank in search engine results pages (SERPs).

Search engines don’t handle all inbound links the same, and inbound links are not the only ranking factor they consider.

2. Referral Traffic

If someone shares an inbound link on their blog or website, people who see that link might click on it, and you will profit from that referral traffic.

The volume of traffic you get from referral traffic depends, of course, on how much traffic that website or blog gets in the first place.

A good inbound link:

a) Proceeds from an official website.
b) Uses proper anchor text.

What’s all this anchor text stuff regarding? Anchor text is the subject copy that is hyperlinked, like this. (The anchor text there is “like this.”) Good inbound links not only have anchor text, but they also have natural anchor text. Here’s what Google says is unnatural:

“Links with optimised anchor text in articles or press statements issued on other websites.

For instance, There are several wedding rings on the sale. If you want to have a marriage, you will have to choose the best ring. You will also need to buy flowers and a wedding dress.”

Google understands the context of a link — to more general “learn more” and “click here” anchor text can be just as crucial as optimised- keyword anchor text.

Most old marketing and advertising strategies have been based on short-term gains. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this approach, especially if you see a positive ROI, but if you want to be successful in the long term, you’ll need a strategy with a little more staying power. For example, Pay per click (PPC) advertising will stop generating traffic and customers the moment you stop doing it, but consistent content marketing will continue to produce compound traffic growths.

Inbound marketing strategies, like SEO and social media marketing, are useful in creating a slow build of results, but for your money, there’s no better long-term strategy than content marketing.

Here is why:

  1. Build Trust with Your Visitors

When a visitor stumbles on your website for any reason, your content can secure his or her confidence in your brand, so long as that content is authoritative, helpful, and well-written overall. The more content you generate and share with your target audience, the more apparent it becomes that you are an expert in the field. People trust experts and hire them to help solve problems.

  1. Build Brand Awareness

Most people do not know about your business, and it is time to change that. If done correctly, you can use content marketing to significantly increase traffic to your website so you can get consistent, quality traffic and inbound links to your site, and expose them to a brand they never knew existed. You will be able to generate more awareness and leads for your business through your content and use it to show your skill and expertise again and again.

  1. Great for Organic Search

Whenever you open your browser and type a keyword or a phrase into the search bar, the search engine works hard to bring you the most relevant information regarding your search query. When you are creating expert content for the sake of sharing valuable and useful information to your ideal target buyers rather than spammy sales copy, Google recognizes that your content is useful and provides the result to people searching and consequently it will rank higher in the search results. Search engine algorithms are always changing. But as long as you consistently create informative, relevant and up to date content, this will rank higher in the search engines.

  1. Generates Leads for Your Business

Generating leads for your business is the reason why marketers do any marketing at all. We need new leads to come to us and eventually buy our product or service. Content marketing enables strangers to find you through your informative and useful content. Most of the time this is even before they are ready to decide to buy or not. It means, your competition is not in the picture yet. Use additional premium content on your site (like ebooks) to draw them in further. We need leads to sell, and content marketing is the way to reach them.

  1. Attract Ideal Buyers

All that talk about leads is excellent, but a large number of unqualified leads won’t get you anywhere. You need to attract ideal buyers, or you will be wasting your sales team’s time.

The advantage of content marketing is that while you will be distributing proof of your expertise to the world, only people who are interested in what you have to say are the ones viewing it. Just the ones who are interested in your field of expertise are going to conduct a search that results in them reading your blog. From these readers, only those who are really intrigued by your brand are going to click to your landing page. From the readers who end up on your landing page, only those who were genuinely attracted by your content are going to fill out a form with personal information to get their hands on more of it. You will have filtered out the lousy leads, and will only be selling to those of the highest quality, meaning less time, energy, and money wasted. That is the inbound marketing way.

  1. Visitors will Share Your Content on Social Network Platforms

You are an expert in your field, and that means you know things that most others don’t. If your content uniquely solves a common problem or distributes a piece of valuable information, it is likely that other companies will also share content that makes them look good as a thought expert. Social media platforms are quickly catching up with search engines as the greatest way for content to reach consumers.

Of course, you should strive to create useful content which people want to read, but if you can create content that people share you will be way ahead of the game. The more people exposed to your content the better, and as we now live in the “digital, mobile, and viral” age, a uniquely exciting post may pick up enough impulse to put it in front of more consumers than you have ever imagined.

  1. Build Brand Authority as an Industry Expert

By now this one should be obvious. Your content showcases your ability to do what you do better than the rest. Your target audience is getting answers to your questions from you; they need to know that you’ll provide them with the best way to solve their particular problem. It’s ok to show them over and over, and you will just be reinforcing your role as the industry expert with each blog post, ebook, video, etc. Even those people who never end up buying from you will regard you as the authority in your field based on your content.

  1. Build Backlinks

Create expert content, and other sites will want to link to yours to share what you have shared. Depending on the linking website, your audience may multiply by 2, 5, or even 100 times. The real gain of backlinking is that it is one of the criteria the search engines use to rank your website. If authority websites are linking to yours and more people are visiting your site through those links, then your page authority increases.

Frequently seen in the pay per click (PPC) advertising world, click fraud is a deceptive technique that is costing entrepreneurs and companies thousands. Click fraud mostly involves malicious, the massive clicking of your pay per click ad by a competitor in the hope that you will panic when you see your sky-high PPC advertising bill and stop running it. Once you can’t any longer afford to advertise and remove your ads from Google or Yahoo, this means more clicks and more sales for the competitor’s services or products.

In 2017 alone, about 1 in 5 clicks on adverts were fraudulent, with the number slowly increasing every month.

Click fraud not only drives up advertising costs for businesses, but it also skews analytical data which many companies rely on to make useful marketing decisions. Maybe you have a pay per click campaign with a high converting and profitable keyword which delivers 80% of your sales. If that keyword suffers from regular click fraud and you don’t detect it, then from a marketing perspective you might decide to remove it. From looking at your data, the click-through rate would be remarkably high, while the conversion rate would be very low. Since you get charged for every click, ultimately the cost of the ad will overweigh the profit, and you will have to give up on it.

However, if you have sufficient data and monitor the keyword closely, then there is a high chance you would see a change in performance, alerting you to the fact that something shady might be going on with that keyword.

By staying vigilant and knowing the tell-tale signs of click fraud, advertisers can help themselves and make PPC platforms safer for everyone. Here are some ways how you can identify a click fraud:

  • Look out for sudden spikes in traffic

Keep an eye on your Google AdWords reports, and Google Analytics reports. In Google Analytics you can clearly see which traffic is coming from AdWords. You should review them regularly and look out for strange spikes in traffic that do not match with increasing your budget.

  • Check for sudden conversion rate drops

A sudden drop in conversion rates despite traffic remaining strong can also be an indication of click fraud. Compare your organic conversion rate to your conversion rate during pay per click campaigns. You should always keep track of the rate difference. Changes you make onsite can alter the conversion rates for both paid and organic traffic, but changes made within PPC management will only affect paid conversion rates. By regularly reviewing this ratio you should notice any strange changes that do not correspond with actions taken by you. If you have been experiencing somewhat steady conversion rates with traffic remaining steady and a few changes have occurred onsite or in your account, but conversion rates suddenly fall, then this could be a sign of click fraud.

  • Look for traffic from weird locations

If you see surges in traffic, reportedly coming from areas outside your geo-targeting; this should be immediately come suspiciously to you. If it is 1 or 2 clicks, it is usually fine, but sudden traffic growth from a location you are not targeting may well be fraud. Click fraud experts can use fake IPs to make to seem like their fake traffic is coming from an area when really it is not.

  • Check for high bounce rates

One of the main signs of click fraud is a sudden increase in bounce rates and shorter sessions on site. Of course, this could be due to your PPC manager targeting a new but unsuitable audience or an unsuccessful change to a website’s landing page. Though, if no changes have been made and traffic from AdWords starts to have growing bounce rates and little amounts of time spent on site, then that is a bad sign and potentially click fraud.

Now that you know you are being click frauded, below are the best practices you can use to avoid click fraud:

1) Exclude IP addresses

If you can identify the person, company or even better- IP addresses of those doing click fraud, you can then block them in AdWords. The hard part is discovering their IP, but you can surely look at your server logs or invest in third-party tracking software that specialises in revealing IP addresses.

2) Keep geotargeting tight

By keeping your PPC geotargeting tight, you can limit exposure to countries where click fraud is frequently committed. It also makes your campaign more relevant and discrepancies easier to spot.

3) Keep keywords relevant and specific

By avoiding broad match and keeping your keywords hyper-relevant, you can run a more relevant campaign, and this will also make it more difficult for fraudsters to target you. Click fraud tends to target broad and expensive keywords. Because these terms mean they can waste more money and as they receive high traffic volume anyway, they are less likely to be caught. By having a firm grasp of your keywords, you limit the chances of becoming a target.

4) Use ad scheduling

If you suspect someone has been doing click fraud against you at a particular time of day or on a specific day of the week, then use ad scheduling to avoid those times and keep your budget intact.

5) Use managed placements on display networks

Using automatic placements is the easiest way to get targeted with click fraud on the display network. By using managed placements, you can choose only reputable and relevant sites and avoid nefarious publishers.

6) Use click fraud prevention software

With all these efforts, click fraud can still slip through the net, but there are third-party specialists in click fraud prevention software. If you are a large brand and reasonably sure you are losing significant money to click fraud, it could be time to invest in extra software.

With all of the digital marketing strategies at your disposal, you may be wondering, what is the importance of email marketing?

Some people believe that “email marketing is dead.” Is there any future in email marketing for small businesses?

The answer is definitely “yes.”

Below, we will discuss the top reasons your brand needs to develop an email marketing strategy and start implementing campaigns shortly.

Automating your emails helps to improve the timeliness and relevancy of your campaigns. You can use workflows and triggers to automatically send messages to consumers after they take a specific action.

For instance, a consumer visits your site and spends some time looking at different products and adding them to their digital cart. But, for some reason, they leave without making any purchase. With email automation, you can make sure that user receives an email shortly after they abandoned their cart to remind them what they left and to ask if they need help completing their purchase. In this case, email marketing automation turns a missed opportunity into an opportunity to build a stronger relationship and make a sale.

In addition to improving the relevance and timeliness of your campaigns, marketing automation can also help you to save time and money in the process.

The number of consumers using mobile devices daily continues to increase.  With that in mind, businesses need to find a way to better interact with mobile consumers if they desire to stay competitive in the digital marketplace. With two-thirds of emails being read on smartphones or tablets, email marketing proves to be an effective tactic for helping businesses to reach and engage those consumers that are using their mobile device.

Every time a consumer checks their phone presents a new opportunity for a brand to reach out and engage that consumer. While some marketing tactics are just not built for mobile engagement, email marketing offers businesses many chances to get their message in front of mobile users.

To ensure that your email messages are useful for mobile consumers, your business will need to create an email content with a responsive design and provide subscribers with the option to view emails with visuals or HTML emails. Any videos or images that you do use within your content should be small so that they can be quickly and easily loaded and viewed on a mobile device. When it comes to written content, make sure that you keep your mobile email content short and sweet, ensuring that all email links can be clicked on and lead to pages that are also mobile friendly.

Email marketing is one of the most cost-effective digital marketing strategies that you can use to reach and engage your target audience.

While traditional marketing tactics can become quite costly with all the fees involved, there are minimal costs involved with email marketing. Depending on your in-house resources, you may need to hire help to create email content, and most businesses also pay to use email marketing automation services, which make effective email marketing less time-intensive.

Overall, email marketing is the valuable digital marketing strategy for businesses working with small budgets because it is relatively inexpensive to start and maintain email marketing campaigns.

As long as the importance of email marketing continues to grow, so will email interactiveness. Email marketing offers businesses the chance to provide an interactive content right to consumer inboxes, for a much lower cost than any other marketing tactic.

Instead of sending the subscriber to a landing page straight away, you can provide various types of interactive content within the body of the email.  Interactive content from embedded video content to email carousels keeps consumers interested and engaged before they come back to your site to take action.

By creating more interactive email content, your business will not only be able to capture the attention of your audience better, but you will also be able to integrate other channels into your digital marketing. For example, if you share a video in an email, you might use social media platforms’ share buttons to encourage others to share the video material on their own social media pages. The more integrated you make your marketing campaigns, the more touchpoints you will create within your target market.

The further we get into the digital age, the more important personalization has become to consumers. Instead of just being served the ads for the same products as everyone else, digital consumers require marketing to be more personal and tailored to their needs and preferences.

Email marketing makes it easy to personalize the messaging and content you deliver to subscribers. Using data that you have collected from your leads and subscribers, you can work to provide more personalised and relevant content that your readers are more likely to enjoy and act on. This can improve both your open and clickthrough rates as well as your overall conversion rates.

The only way to know if a digital marketing strategy is working for your business is to measure the results. Another reason why your company needs email marketing is that its metrics are easy to measure and track over time. That way, there is no guesswork about whether the tactics you are using are really working or not.

With email marketing analytics, your company can see which consumers opened your emails, if they clicked any links, or if they took the desired action. You can also see how many people unsubscribed from your list after opening the email. This information becomes valuable as you work to analyze your digital marketing strategy and make adjustments for improvement.

Now that you know the value of email marketing and how your business can use it to grow, it is time to start making a plan for implementation.

An email marketing is an essential part of any marketing strategy. Email is the most cost-effective way to communicate with your customers, promote your products and reach your business goals. On average, for every $1 you spend on email marketing, you can expect a return of $43.

In this post, we will present you 6 tactics to use in your email marketing strategy which will help you to achieve extraordinary results through email marketing.

When we say personalized email marketing, we do not mean that you send an individual email to every single subscriber. Personalization means that you use customer data to create a personalized message.

70% of brands don’t use personalization in their email marketing strategy. This means that personalizing your emails will help you stand out from the competition.

The simplest method of personalization is to address the reader by his/her name. Most ESPs (email service providers) offer this within their functionality, and this tactic alone will improve your marketing campaign performance. For instance, email subject lines that are personalized with a recipient’s first name can increase open rates by 16%. Considering that 47% of all marketing emails are opened because of the subject line alone, that is sure a great method to get more views on your email.

Segmentation is one of the effective tactics that you can use to increase the personalization of your messaging and content. This is the method of dividing your subscriber list into various groups based on their common characteristics. For example, you might put those living in a common geographic region with a similar climate into one group, and separate those who live on the other side of the country. You can also divide the lists based on your subscribers’ interests or demographic information.

By segmenting your lists, you are making sure that the subscribers are getting the types of content and offers that interest them most. This improves relevancy, which can lower unsubscribe rates and increase conversion rates. This kind of personalization is often not possible with other types of marketing like direct mail. Which is why it is highly relevant to the importance of email marketing.

In 2012, 27%, in 2014 42% and 2018 54% of all marketing emails had been opened on a mobile device. Whenever you send an email to a subscriber who reads their emails on their mobile device, yet the email is not optimized for that device they will mostly unsubscribe or delete it. To make sure your email is mobile friendly, you should implement responsive email design (RED), keep pre-header and the subject line short and make the call to action (CTA) big and visible. Any media that you use within your content should be small so that they can be quickly and easily loaded and viewed on a mobile device.

Trigger-based email is an email that is sent out automatically based on user behavior.

The most typical forms of trigger emails are ‘thank you’ emails, ‘welcome’ emails, and ‘transactional’ emails, such as order confirmation email and email receipts.

The data behind trigger emails shows us that trigger emails perform much better than traditional email as open rates for trigger emails are as high as 49% which is 95% higher than conventional email open rates.

Also, the average click-through rate (CTR) for trigger emails is more than double the rate compared to regular email click-through rates. And the best converting websites in the world, sites that convert as much as 40% of their traffic, use trigger emails.

Optimizing cart and checkout abandonment is one of the highest value areas to focus on when it comes to conversion rate optimization. After all, if someone has added an item to their cart, they are a notably well-qualified potential customer.

If you are using software that enables automation, you can quite easily set up a rule that identifies whether a person visits the cart or checkout page, but not your confirmation or thank you page. When this criterion is met, an email can be sent to them asking them why they did not complete their transaction.

Whether you test your email templates, landing pages or home page, testing provides data to make practical decisions which will improve your marketing performance. By sending several variations made to the subject line to a small sample of subscribers, you can calculate the number of leads you can expect to receive based on the results.

You can test not only the subject lines but also the following:

  • “From” address: The name that appears in the “from” field has a tremendous impact on whether the reader opens your email. In fact, the sender name is the main reason why people open your email. Test your “from” address by sending your campaigns from a person’s name, person + company or your CEO.
  • Plain text vs. HTML campaigns: Have you ever thought about testing an email campaign that is a plain text only? And when you include an element of personalization, plain text emails look to be written just for the reader.
  • Short vs. long emails: You can keep your emails sweet and short or, you can create long and detailed emails. Long emails can include more detailed copy while shorter emails will send the reader directly to a targeted landing page.

The best way to learn what works best is to test it!

Over the next couple of years, we are likely to see a lot more e-commerce companies joining their email marketing campaigns with social advertising. In a study, a leading American retailer targeted 925,000 email subscribers with both its coordinated Facebook ads and regular emails.  And the results showed that consumers who received both were 22% more likely to make purchases than those who only received emails.

Big screen size? Lots of downloadable apps? Tons of memory? Sure. Good battery life? Not so fast. One of the biggest pains for smartphone users these days is battery life. You can consider buying power bank but what if you’ve just charged your smartphone and still aren’t getting any of it? That could mean you need either a battery or phone replacement. There are several ways to determine if your phone needs a new battery.

The phone won’t turn on

This may be an obvious one. Check to see if it shows no sign of power – nothing lights up, no sound, nothing. If the phone shows no signs of life after charging with a reliable charger, it’s time to call it: your battery is dead. You should hope it is the only thing that is dead.

The Phone Only Shows Power When Plugged In

If the battery is bad, it does not hold a charge to power the phone from its stored energy. However, if the phone functions properly, the phone may still power up when a source is connected. If the phone does not power up after it had time to charge thoroughly, it is more than likely time to get a new battery.

The Phone Dies Quickly

The phone may charge for the recommended amount of time, show a full charge, and then die long before those 10 hours advertised. Those advertised time typically is for average usage; if you’re a digital gamer, listen to Spotify or iTunes all day, surf the Web, expect your battery to drain faster than advertised. Either plug the phone in every possible place and use it while charging or consider buying a power bank. If none of the ways help the battery probably is bad and needs to be replaced

The Phone Starts to Feel Hot

Rechargeable batteries inevitably produce heat as they charge. However, most rechargeable batteries internalize the heat, thereby shielding it from becoming noticeably hot. If it starts to become hot to the touch,  new one!

The Battery Bulges

Sometimes, when batteries are gone bad, the internal cells rupture and cause a bulge in it. A bulge makes it able to spin when placing the battery on a flat surface.

So, is it worth to replace batteries? Maybe. If you have an old phone that’s not in the best condition, a dead battery may be a symptom of things to come if you hang onto the device. However, if the phone is in good condition and fits your needs, it may be useful to purchase a new one to get it up and running again.

As a last tip: Batteries are classified as hazardous waste. You shouldn’t simply throw them in the trash. Look for recycling centers or online sites when you can send old batteries for disposal.

Electric car maker Tesla has released a Tesla Power bank that can charge Android or iPhone on the go. Tesla fans are excited about the new vehicles last week, but it also introduced a new power bank that did not get any stage time during the launch event. The price for device is  $45 and comes with USB, micro USB, and Apple lightning support

All you need to know about the Tesla Power bank

The 3,350mAh Tesla Power bank costs $45. The company said they modeled it after its Supercharger monument at the Tesla Design Studio. Tesla fans will quickly recognize that it follows the EV maker’s design philosophy. The power bank comes with micro USB, USB, and Apple’s Lightning connections. It means the iPhone and iPad users will not have to carry a Lightning-to-USB cable to charge their devices.

Size of The Tesla Power bank 108 x 30.5 x 23.3mm. Tesla says it has a single 18,650 cell with 3,350mAh capacity. It’s the same cell like in the Model S and Model X electric vehicles. Of course, the cars pack about 7,000 of these cells rather than just one, to offer a long range. Tesla also sells a Desktop Supercharger that costs $45 and involves a USB port.

Tesla Power bank’s $45 price tag is much higher than other similar power banks. But Tesla fans would be interested in it because of its design. There are many other power banks with similar specs that are considerably lower. It may seem a bit strange that an electric vehicle maker Tesla is selling power banks for Android and iOS smartphones. But the company also has a multi-billion-dollar Gigafactory to make batteries.

The Elon Musk -CEO of the company- also offers Powerwall energy storage solutions for homes and businesses.  Powerwall and solar will meet all of your home’s energy needs. The Powerwall systems come in 7kWh and 10kWh options. When the grid goes down, solar energy will continue to power your home and charge your Powerwall.

Also, there are many kinds of touch panels and screens – (touchscreen and display are not connected), glued (the sensor is glued with special glue to the display) and built-in (the sensor is built into the display).

How do we solve it ?

In the first case, the replacement takes less time and we fix it in the shortest time. The second case, when the glass is glued to the display, is also not difficult, but you need to understand that you can not separate these parts. They glue it with special transparent glue in factory dust-free conditions, and if these parts they divide and glued again, dust or dirt may fall under them, or they will not work properly. In the latter case, the replacement is more complicated, since the part will thin. In any case, an experienced engineer will always perform a quality replacement, and the smartphone will work like a new again.

Water, dirt or other objects entering the smartphone.

Quite often smartphones get wet, especially in summer and winter time. Sometimes you accidentally leave your phone in your pants while doing laundry or you just spill a drink on it, water damage may put an end to your phone. If moisture gets into the smartphone, you should immediately remove the battery (battery), and if it is not possible to do that simply turn off the device. The second thing to do is to take it to the service centre for cleaning. Do not try to dry or clean the device yourself – without special solutions and washings, you will not succeed. High-quality cleaning of the smartphone from moisture can save you money, time and nerves.

Cleaning from dirt is important to prolong the life of the device. It good to do cleanings at least once every six months. If your speaker does not work well, the microphone or the buttons stick, that just may mean your device needs to cleanings.
